The planet that has fallen from exaltation but is in friendly or exalted Navamsa gives ordinary results, and the planet that is ascending from debilitation but is in debilitated or unfriendly Navamsa gives a worthless result. Dasha is the cornerstone of Vedic Astrology. It is a method of progression of either Graha or Rasi to time manifestation of results of Graha and Rasi promised in the natal chart. Among them, the Vimshottari Dasha System occupies a very eminent place as most astrologers of the current time use this.
