Many a sciences have attempted to predict the life span of a human being, but have conceded that an accurate assessment of life span is not only a difficult proposition, but also arguably, is impossible. This has been a dark area in the field of astrology as well. Is human life subject to the whims of Shiva, or is there a measurable method to His will? Everyday, we come across cases that baffling, like the case of twins where the basic birth chart does not change much except by a few degrees of ascendant, but one twin only lives for a short period, while the second lives on to a ripe old age. This book presents a well-researched method of calculating hora lagna, strength of planets and signs, Navamsha/dwadamsha, and Trishamsha. This method is the result of rigorous testing on more than a 100 known horoscopes and these horoscopes have also been presented in this book, with accurate life span predictions.
About the Author Shri. Vinod Prakash Goel is a former officer of the Indian Engineering Services and has served the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. He also held senior managerial positions with private companies in India and abroad before setting up a business in Engineering, Manufacturing and Contracting. Shri. Goel is an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (Honors) from Banaras Hindu University. In the year 1999 and 2000, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya at the Institute of Astrology, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi.
