Predicting Through Shasti Hayani Dasha by V P Goel
On seeing a horoscope, it is important to know which of the conditional dasha systems would be applicable to it, apart from the general dasha systems like the Vimshottari or Narayana Dasha. Shasti Hayani Dasha system is a conditional, 28-nakshatra-based dasha system, applicable to those horoscopes that have Surya in Lagna.
This book by V P Goel has tried to bring out some of the unique features of this dasha system by individually analysing each of the 12 lagnas having the Sun in Ascendant. Horoscopic illustrations having Ravi in Lagna are also given and well analysed, some briefly and some in detail, which is extremely interesting.
The book is inherently limited in scope in as much as the dasha system itself may occur infrequently. The quotations of Maharshi Parashar given in the book, are extremely relevant and enlightening.
About the Author Shri. Vinod Prakash Goel is a former officer of the Indian Engineering Services and has served the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. He also held senior managerial positions with private companies in India and abroad before setting up a business in Engineering, Manufacturing and Contracting. Shri. Goel is an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (Honors) from Banaras Hindu University. In the year 1999 and 2000, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya at the Institute of Astrology, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi.
